Day 1 – Vathy & Historical Exploration

 

Morning:

• Meet at the entrance of Kuşadası Ege Port at 7:00 AM.

• Arrive at Vathy Port by ferry from Kuşadası.

• Short walk in Vathy city center, coffee break at cafes.

• Transfer to Kokkari.

• Lunch at a tavern on Kokkari beach.

• Visit Kokkari Village (colorful houses, seaside cafes) or swim.

Afternoon:

​

• Transfer to Pythagorion.

• Visit the statue of Pythagoras, the philosopher and mathematician who gave the city its name, and learn about his life.

• Excursion to the ancient harbor and Blue Street.

• Check in at the hotel and have free time.

Evening:

​

• Dinner at a tavern with live music in Pythagorion.

• Accommodation: Hotel in Pythagorion.

 

Day 2 – Nature & Village Tours

Morning:

​

• Visit the Temple of Hera (Heraion).

• Visit the Neamino Monastery.

• Visit a pottery workshop in Koumaradei Village: The story of the Pythagorean Cup.

• Depart for the Karlovassi region. Stop for a tasting at a honey cooperative along the way.

Lunch:

​

• Lunch in Karlovassi.

​

Afternoon:

 

• Free shopping and coffee break in Karlovassi.

• Return to Vathy, free shopping and coffee break.

• Evening:

• Return to Kuşadası by ferry.
